New Island Technologies Announces Exciting Control-M Internship Program for 2024

Empowering the Next Generation of IT Professional

New Island Technologies, the local distributor for BMC in Sub-Saharan Africa, kicked off its first internship program today with ten excited students fresh out of University and Technikon. The focus for this program will be the BMC automation solution called Control-M, which will include sales, presales, and technical insights around the Control-M solution. The program will run for six months, after which the successful candidates can continue their growth with New Island and our BMC resellers.

Most of South Africa’s leading banks, retailers, manufacturers and insurance businesses use BMC’s Control-M to run, automate and transform their businesses today. Enterprise Application and Data Workflow Orchestration skills are vital to delivering improvement and innovation to companies. That is why New Island Technologies is building today’s aspiring young minds to bring these skills to the South African market.

Control-M simplifies application and data workflow orchestration on-premise or as a service. It makes building, defining, scheduling, managing and monitoring production workflows easy, ensuring visibility and reliability and improving service level agreements (SLAs).

The Control-M internship program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. Interns can work closely with seasoned professionals to learn from business and technical teams in a dynamic and innovative work environment.

We are excited to welcome our team of Newtons to New Island Technologies. Our internship program is not just about providing valuable experience; it’s about fostering the next generation of IT leaders. We look forward to working with passionate and talented individuals who share our commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology.
