The Control-M internship program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. Interns can work closely with seasoned professionals to learn from business and technical teams in a dynamic and innovative work environment.

AIOPS: 01August – 31December 2024
Mainframe: 01 January 2025 – 30 June 2025

THE AGENTIC AI INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The BMC Helix Agentic AI Internship is a practical graduate programme designed to introduce early-career professionals to the next generation of AI-driven operations. The programme focuses on the fundamentals of Agentic AI and how intelligent agents collaborate to analyse, decide, and act within complex IT environments.
Participants gain hands-on experience in lab-based environments, where they learn how to design and build multi-agent systems using BMC Helix capabilities. This includes understanding how specialised AI agents interact, share context, and coordinate actions to address operational challenges such as event analysis, incident response, and service optimisation.
Guided by mentors working on active projects, graduates develop both technical skills and real-world insight into how Agentic AI is applied in enterprise environments. The programme combines structured learning with a final project, where participants design and present a multi-agent use case aligned to modern ServiceOps challenges.
Alongside technical development, participants strengthen their problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, while engaging with engineers and product managers. The programme also serves as a pathway to full-time roles within New Island Technologies and its partner ecosystem.

THE IZOT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Mainframe Internship run by New Island is a practical training program that introduces students to the fundamentals of mainframe computing, with a strong focus on BMC AMI DevX tools. Participants learn how to develop, test, and manage applications in a mainframe environment using modern DevOps practices. Through hands-on experience with BMC AMI DevX, students gain essential skills in code editing, debugging, and deployment.

THE AIOPS, DISCOVERY & NETREO INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The AIOps, Discovery & Netreo Internship Program is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world IT operations, equipping interns with hands-on experience in next-generation monitoring, automation, and infrastructure intelligence. Interns can work alongside experienced professionals across both technical and business teams, gaining exposure to cutting-edge AIOps capabilities, service discovery, and network performance management within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Our program is more than just practical experience—it’s about developing future-ready talent and shaping the next generation of IT leaders.
